Project Summary
The purpose of this project is to develop a web application that offers users resources on projected job trends and analysis that may assist their job search using information regarding industry statistics. Specifically, users will be able to select a job title of interest and be provided job descriptions, job requirements (ie. education and/or training), projected vacancies, average salaries, and any other applicable data from across Canada. They can then compare this job with others and see a side by side comparison of the data.
This application was made in the DESN 443 course at MacEwan University. It was an interdisciplinary class that combined the talents of Computer Science and Design students. Each team consisted of 3 developers and 1 designer. The designers were tasked with creating the brand and design of the entire application and the developers coded it to submit for their final capstone project. I was paired with the development team of Sharon Lee, Kelly Ng, and Sana Imtiaz and we worked collaboratively to create the final application: JUXTA.
